今回の仕様は、鮮やかな ブルー & オレンジ・カラーヴァイナル 2枚組!ハーブ・アルパート & ティファナ・ブラスが演奏する耳に残るメインテーマを皮切りに、ダスティ・スプリングフィールドが歌う永遠の名曲「The Look of Love」、そして映画を締めくくる壮大なファイト・ミュージックまで――。
フィル・ラモーンのプロデュースによるオリジナル盤は、名編集と圧倒的な音質で知られ、世界中のコレクター垂涎の的となってきた作品。今回のリイシューは、2019年ヴァイナル版を基盤に クリス・マローン が全スコアをゼロから再構築。ドロップアウト補填やアナログ編集の補正に徹し、ダイナミックレンジ圧縮を避け、当時の録音が持つ輝きを完全に再現。
LP1はステレオによるオリジナル盤を完全リマスター、LP2にはモノラルで残された未発表素材をすべて収録。
